Navigation - Configurable columns

You can use Configurable Columns to hide unwanted data columns, creating more room for columns that you use more often. You can also resize the columns to make the best use of the space available.

Note: You cannot hide essential data columns, such as the Account Reference.

In addition to hiding and resizing the default data columns, you can also choose to display columns that would normally be hidden. For example, the last cost price for your product records.

Your settings are linked to your user name, so you can personalise your software without affecting other users.

SettingsOpen this section

To turn configurable columns on or off:

Only one of the following options can be selected:

Allow columns to be hidden and resized (default)

You can resize, hide and include additional data columns in many areas of the software. If you select this option the column settings are specific to the logged on user.

Use Manager account settings for column display

All users logging on to Sage Accounts view the same columns that have been set by the Manager logon name.

They still see the smart column options, but cannot select or deselect it.

Use default settings for column display

This option turns off the configurable columns, and the default columns appear in all modules.
